Helen Brown

Director of Teaching School

The Denbigh Teaching School Alliance was formed in 2011 as part of the first wave of National Teaching Schools. Led by Denbigh School in Milton Keynes, the Alliance provides high quality staff development and school support across all subject areas and at every level of experience, from support staff to ITT, through to Senior Leadership Level.

Denbigh TSA's overarching aim is to work alongside schools and teachers from across all phases in improving outcomes for young people in Milton Keynes and beyond. We want teachers who work with us to feel inspired, energised and confident to develop new ideas in their classrooms and schools.

To achieve this, we are committed to providing high quality training and bespoke support which has lasting positive impact. We offer programmes to meet the needs of all staff, including associate staff and teacher trainees through to Headteacher level.

Denbigh Teaching School Alliance was formed in 2011 as part of the first cohort of teaching schools. Its strategic partners are from all phases:

Primary: Loughton Manor First School and Christ the Sower Ecumenical Primary School

Special: Slated Row School

Secondary: Denbigh School, Shenley Brook End School Leadership and Training Centre, St Paul’s Catholic school

Higher Education Partner: The Open University

Our ITT provision is provided by The Tommy Flowers SCITT.
